How uplighting transforms your venue

Uplighting is the fastest way to change how a room feels. A blank banquet hall becomes warm and intimate; a plain ballroom takes on your wedding colors. Here is what to know before you book.

What uplighting actually is

Uplights are small LED fixtures placed on the floor along the walls, aimed upward. They wash the walls and architecture in color. Because modern units are wireless and battery-powered, they can go anywhere without cables running across the room.

How many fixtures do you need?

A rough guide: one uplight every 8–10 feet along the walls you want to light. A typical mid-size venue lands around 12–20 fixtures. We’ll walk your floor plan with you so you are not guessing.

Pairs well with

Uplighting is a great base layer. Add string lights overhead, a monogram on the dance floor, or pin spots on the centerpieces and the room goes from nice to memorable.
